Holocaust In My Body

Healing The Shadows That Haunt Us

A new film featuring Steve Sisgold and Dr. Gay Hendricks.

The purpose of this film is to present a real life example of healing past hurts that were affecting Steve's ability to live life as fully as he knew he could.

"I knew from growing up around Holocaust survivors that I had some unresolved feelings stored deeply in my body that I had never expressed. I traveled to Poland and Germany to the Nazi Concentration Camps with my colleague and friend Gay Hendricks, an internationally known author, psychologist and pioneer in the field of body-centered therapy. He offered to accompany and assist me in my journey, excited to help me sort out what was (the past painful feelings) from what is (the present, how I could feel now). He also had, like many others his own personal family and childhood traumas that he felt this trip would help surface and clear. My hope is that whatever traumas you may have deeply stored within yourself, from sexual abuse to cultural prejudice, that this film will assist you to take steps towards embracing and healing your pain."
